“J” is for Japanese Garden

For our “J” date we decided to go to the Japanese Gardens in Portland. It is supposed to be the most authentic Japanese Garden outside of Japan. You are given a map of the garden along with explanations for what the various areas are. There was a lot of symbolism in what things represent, but I’m not going to pretend I remember what each of the things is! So instead here are just a bunch of pretty pictures.

We also went to the rose garden that was across the street from the Japanese Gardens. There were so many different colored pretty flowers!
